Video Website Datasheets #6: Revver
February 7, 2008
By special request I have made Revver.com my next target for technical analysis. I had started going through the list in alphabetical order but ruled out Break.com and Broadcaster.com on the grounds that they appear to push adult material. Clickcaster has also been overlooked because it is not free other than for trial purposes.
So to Revver. Subjectively the results are pleasing, broadly on a par with vimeo. Revver is known for its revenue sharing model based on inserted ads.
